yeah. I found the chipset on HP. Didnt expect it 2 b an nvidia one. Caught me there. Tks 4 ur help guys.

Tried for the driver whilst in device mgr. couldnt fine one. Tried Quanta but they referred me back to HP. Big Help. Will try again with HP. tks a lot for your help.

Yeah, thought of chipset driver being poss problem. Usuallycomes on m/board installation disc, which I don't have. Where would I get the chipset driver? Tks for your help guys. Frank.

Device mgr shows "Other Devices" Coprocessor, Ethernet Controller, and SM Bus controller, all with the dreaded yellow exclamation point.

Thanks Pete. The help I need is with the integrated ethernet LAN. I have the driver for the WLAN.

refurbished unit. Reinstalled Vista Home Premium. Need driver? for the integrated LAN. m/board is a quanta 30 cf. Need advise pls as this prob is a new one for me.
