Santa Rosa platform? MS Vista? Can you please explain? I like my 700m, but its selling for pretty high on eBay right now and with $100-200, i can get a new laptop.

Just the basics like notetaking in class, surfing the net, watching videos / movies, burning CDs, downloading music/videos, etc. Multi-tasking capabilities is very important. Unfortunately, no gaming cause i have no time.
