try reinstalling your CPU drivers...I just have the same problem and this fixed it. As for the heat, its summer?

Lol, I didnt understand how that was gonna help, and I told him that wasnt the problem but he insisted it would work. Didnt obv.

Fixored!!! I reinstalled the drivers (duh).
