nope release build, just odd things trigger for people randomly. I had a Deathclaw decide he wanted to fly up into space on me one time. Gamebryo's always been buggy as hell for anything that uses it.

Broken Steel story kicks in once you finish the main story. for the rest, you begin the quest line listed in your quest line

Broken Steel's one of the DLCs. adds additional gameplay after the main game's ending (the only one of the F3 or F:NV DLCs that do that) EDIT: if yours is GOTY then you have it already
