Netbooks generally cannot play DVD's or HD (720p) video. They will stutter constantly. Netbooks are adequate for word processing and internet browsing, but they will be on the slow side. Their major pros are price and portability.

Hmmm... Either one will do the job just fine. The processors are pretty comparable. Tom's Hardware did an article saying there's no noticable difference between 4gb and anything higher, so I wouldn't care at all about the extra RAM....

abf dont fret the i386 kernel. Between the 386 and the 686 on my Pentium M, I notice basically no difference.
