The problem is that when I try to load Vista Ultimate from the DVD, it fails. When I load XP, it fails. The only option I have is to begin with the Alienware image which is stored as a 9Gb partition on the SSD's... where to go from here?
I may end up troubleshooting with you. The website says they charge a 15% re-stocking fee which, for me, is $900.... I sent them an e-mail. Waiting to see. If they take it back, I'll buy an M1730 instead.

More details... The Red LED on the "Alienware" name is burnt out. When playing any game, GRID, CRYSIS, I get about a 2" horizontal blur around the center of the display like where the 2 cards would meet. It comes and goes...
Also, no signal on the TV Tuner... Am I supposed to buy an antenna or what? I thought it would just pick up the signal with the built-in tuner...
