So after some overclock excitements and mishaps, one other person online Enigma86 OC'ed his X1400 in '06 with the clocks @ 546/433 I'm assuming with stock cooling (not good) For those curious, the stock clocks are 432/391.5 I've OC'ed...
Okay well.. Apparently the mid 120s is the idle range, it hit 132 degrees and the fan bumped on medium for about 10 seconds and turned off and it dropped down to 115 lol awesome, can't wait to get to OCing!
Some of you make think this is probably one of the most retarded things done, that may be so, but I also no use of the other graphics card seeing it doesn't fit in the newer e1705 frame. I wish it did.. if there weren't any resistors...

From what I've heard it supposedly will "accept" 800mhz ram, however it underclocks the timing down to 667mhz, now of course a number is a number, same as it is with RAM dropping from 4 to 3.25 on our systems, that RAM is still...
I probably won't do it anytime soon, and if/when I do i'd prefer to do a nice job on it and get a replacement faceplate and dremmel the slot out, i dunno, looking at my e1705 (1710 on outside), I might just be getting closer and closer...
Does anyone know if this is possible, I was thinking about doing it a while back but have kinda dropped the subject for almost a year now and since slot loading is all the rage with new laptops you can find slot loaded drives just about...
