It was the video card. I just got a new one in today and replaced it. After trying it and seeing it work, I went ahead and tried the old processor and motherboard just to see if they're good - they work fine. I just thought I'd update...

Well crap. How is the windows xp support for these?

Strictly from a drivers/hardware compatability perspective, how close are the dv6447om and the dv6911om? My laptop (a dv6447om) was stolen last night along with ALOT of other items, and I had the drivers to run windows xp pro on it...

Just purchased and slapped in a t7400...no go. Any thoughts?
