To install the right driver, go into settings, then device manager, and select to camera. Then double click it, and click upgrade or find driver. Then put the camera cd in and it should automatically copy the necessary drivers.

Did you try a different cable? That would narrow your problem down fast.

I think that WSXGAs never got shipped or were not available from the start. The screens were backordered. But that's just a suspicion on my part.
