I just recently purchased a 8790. Doom 3 and City of Heroes run great as long as you have the right drivers.
Also, City of Heroes has a large selection of widescreen resolutions, unlike Doom, but either way they both...
GreenChemist suggested that I use the 4.5's from Omega.
I downloaded them a while ago and I am now running Doom 3 on
Ultra Setting 1280x1024 AA x8
It runs beautifully! So much better then it did with the newest drivers from ATI...
