no, tried that, took out battery, just on AC, nothing.

Don't think it'll work, the screen works, eventually the computer makes absolutely no noise, none of the usual boot up noises.

Okay, so for some reason my laptop doesn't want to boot up, or something. The first Toshiba screen pops up, then it goes black for a bit, and then the black screen with the gray bars at the bottom shows up, and it just stays on that...
