I don't like the non-removable battery part but I think about it: how often do you swap out batteries? My laptop is almost always connected to the mains and as it is a 17 I don't travel with it often. It makes much more sense for a...
:this: AppleCare does not cover batteries, however, unless the battery loses it's charge abnormally fast or is bloating/leaking, etc.
Currently you would have to get the DisplayPort to DVI adaptor and then a DVI to HDMI adaptor to do this. I don't foresee Apple offering a DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor anytime soon. But Apple is licencing Mini DisplayPort for free so...

The benchmarks here and here should give a good indicator of performance.

A MacBook, at 13.3 inches, fits every single one of those criteria except for number 4 having a resolution of exactly 1200x800. And every Mac comes with iMovie which can edit HD video out of the box.
Apple has just completely invalidated iMovie by trashing Firewire. I don't know of any DV cams that transfer through USB. Blanco, USB will be fine for a DSLR. Also there are wireless mice and USB hubs you can use.
