Well Im done with this project. I used a Craftsman Drill/Sander to sand out the upper region of the lcd bezel, some JB Weld to hold the camera in place, and a basic soldering iron. USB camera & cable came from an HP DV2000 model....

Could be a bad card, take a peek and check it out for any burn marks, or try reseating it, could have moved, possibly.

well I have it mounted already, had to sand it down beneath the LCD bezel lock clip do to lack of space. I didn't want to lose out on the closing of the laptop but still working with the wiring, the hard part is done
