out of those three, i think the s360 is probably you're best bet. the asus is going to be significantly bigger, and the hp is not as good quality or screen

get both, play around with them for a bit and keep the one you prefer. I know IBM has a 30 day return policy, not sure about ASUS.
you could get a thinkpad t42p, a dell latitude 610, an asus w3v, an asus v6v, or a sony s380. these are prob your best options.

The only thinkpads that work are T-series and X-series. I would suggest the T42 14.1". Specs you can choose yourself. Check www.thinkpads.com

well i have a similarly spec'd t40 and it functions smoothly, the only diff is I have 512mb RAM
asus v6v is probably too big/heavy for you check out the asus w3v. this looks like a great, great machine.
remote desktop is your answer. hope you have Windows XP Pro.
