i don't think you'll gain much going for 3.0 to 3.4... the ex7 already runs pretty hot. upcoming clockspeed on your proc will only make it worse. i say go for a vid card upgrade.

dell has sweet warranty tho.. 3 of my friends have traded in old inspirons for spanking new xps systems..

user upgradable or not, it still costs you a pretty penny since more often than not you salvage nothing from your previous gfx card

i think raid 0 is a mistake in laptops.. too unreliable in a system which already has trouble cooling
