CrystalCPUID reports the core voltage, and allows you to change it.
That's awesome service! I've read horror stories about some of the mainstream brands taking weeks (or even longer) to service a laptop. Glad your getting "Veronica" back so quickly. Hopefully, no more problems.

ClockGen will let you underclock and undervolt, but only if your board is supported. Also, CrystalCPUID will do the same.
Seems like they would work on either side. Sagers aren't unique in having the PCMCIA slot on the left side. Many other notebooks have it on the left.
You could try ClockGen. But read all the documentation and be very careful with it, or you could end up screwing your processor. http://www.cpuid.com/clockgen.php
I doubt they'll come out with one for the 4750. The way it's designed, there's no extra space for it unless they hang it out the bottom, which would require putting the laptop on stilts! I think the only way they could put one in...
