I heard that the speaker quality is poor for these series. Has anyone successfully replace the speaker? or is this possible?

Just read in http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=300199 that this notebook has 1 PCMCIA slot (right) and 1 expresscard/54 slot (left). It is not mentioned if the expresscard slot is USB emulated or PCIe 1x.

Thanks for the reply. I think i will stick on ATA mode on XP. I am just curios why the hdd is not detected even with F6 + ICH8M driver loaded. I not yet try with regular hdd anyway. Will try later and see how it goes.
