does anyone have the problem where turning on the high fans (fn + f10) actually shuts down the computer?

i recently got my 8790, 4 days ago, everything was working fine. untill today when i try to turn on the "max fans" fn + f10 the computer starts beeping flashing the num lock and caps lock LED display and then in about 15 sec....
