XP SP2 has worked well for me so far. I'd slipstream it into your regular Windows OS so that you don't have to constantly update. Lots of internet help on how to slipstream XP SP 2.

Macally makes screen protectors for Mac computers. My wife has a 15" PB and I have a 15.4" Compaq. The Macally doesn't *quite* make it, so I'd suggesting picking up the 17" screen protector and cutting it down to size....
