Bad solder joint if the jack was pulled.. Its a pain on these but repairable.. Also look to see if the Negative blade connection plate got bent to deter contact.. (May be able to bend back w/out disassebly).. Good luck!

Its not that bad but you have to be sure the replacement drive has a compatable structure for the drive face. Contact HP Or search similar to find the ones that will work. Theyre not propietary as far as functionality but the bummer weve...
