The link your guys are refering to is for the H8 Update. What about the bios? When the machine boots up it says: Bios version 1.01 (revision 2.01), H8 version 3.15.23? Is my machine up to date?

What is the latest bios for the 8886? From the clevo site there are different bios updates for the 888E and 8880? Which one is for the 8886? I followed the directions in the threads, but maybe I'm using the wrong update. Thanks

I take back that I said this update had good results! All of a sudden all my audio programs started opening real slow after a week of having the update installed. So I used system restore and now everything is normal agin. Beware!

I used the "dxdiag" utility and it states my drivers are the catalyst 3.2. But I never noticed a "rotate" feature in the control panel others have mentioned in other posts?

Well I set my restore points today and gave it a shot. I've noticed some improvement in load times in most applications, even in the o.s. upon startup. Nothing bad has happened as a result from it so far.

F.Y.I. I just bought a Us Robotics 22mbps wireless Router and PC Card for my 8886 and all is well. It cost me $150 to my door for both.
