Yeah I can see the video, but I can not hear the sound. I can hear sound on everything else but DVDs. Even CDs play in the dvd drive. I will check WMP for the options and compare it to the options in my laptop. They should be the same...

Hello All, I am having a major issue and I figured Icould come here for help. My DVD+-RW is not play8ing any DVD sound. It will play a CD just fine, but when I put in a movie, I only see the video. No sound. Every other sound works...

What the deal peoples? I just finished a mixtape with a local producer (All recording was done with my 6809 and the protools Mbox. The lappy worked like a charm. It was absolutely beautiful. Much more stable than my Compaq 2140US)...

Don't use the Prodisc. I tried some the last few days and they burn, but only at 1X. I am going to try the Ridata next.

I just flashed my 6809 with the Arima bios and I had to reactivate windows. Just an FYI. I just put in the activation code on the bottom of the machine and that was it.

That is probably what I get for buying the cheap DVD-R's at the computer show thsi weekend. I will go and get some name brand dvdr and see what happens.

I was trying to burn some DVDs last night for the first time and I kept getting an illegal disk error. It would start the burn and stop at about 14 %. Is there a certain brand that someone has tried and they know works on the 6809?? Am...

Damn firewall at work blocked the download site. I guess I will have to actually work and dl when I get home.
