How about 3000+ vs. 2.8c?

If I were to OC both of these CPU's, how much more % performance would I get out of the 2.8c? Because it's basically $280 cheaper to go with the 2500+

Heh, I can't really get a faster CPU or video card right now, and I don't think I'll need more than 1 gig of RAM for a while. I don't plan on overclocking...so I'll just stick with what the regular stuff. Thanks guys!

I was wondering if upgrading to Corsair RAM (for a desktop) is worth the extra $80? If it weren't upgraded, it would be just a no-name brand that a reseller sells. Would I really notice the difference in performance?

Its even more than that. The 256 mb version is like 450, and I'm pretty sure you can't get it for much cheaper.

Is it worth buying a radeon 9800 pro with 256 mb memory? I know that it doesnt matter much right now, but will this increase the life of my system? or should i just wait until I actually need a new video card, and buy something better...
