it actually was not running. after the vista loading screen, it would show a black screen. i had to format it. i luckily did back it up to my external hard drive when I noticed that it was acting funny. i think i will do the system...

i want to be able to multi-task, and use big apps that use a lot of memory like adobe products (dreamweaver, fireworks), great graphics, for web design. i will use it for music videos and movies. i would not use it much for gaming......
