Well, it's sad, but true. My NP3790 is SHOT--for good.
I tried to open it up but couldn't.. I took out all screws I thought are there to hold the upper and lower piece of the case together but can't seem to take it apart.. the sides are all lose and open up nicely vertically.. well, except...
And today it died. Now I can only boot the machine up and keep it running if I apply strong physical pressure vertically downwards to the lower left portion of the device.. Does Sager do repairs of their laptops after the hardware...
Well I'm screwed. I have it confirmed. It's reliably repeatable. If I bend the lower left corner of the laptop down just a bit.. the entire machine shuts down. I recorded a small video of that and I'm not sure if I can upload it here...
