yepp if you ever had your m17x totally inopertive A04 could help a lot i used a04 for a day and really disappointed... serious issues with the charging and the charger itself during a 5 hour gaming period my power brick is overheated 4...
I also have to clean my M1730 about every months due 8800M SLI need a really good cooling plus the cpu cooler attached to the PhysX card too

I see what uu say so is really possible we could run this CPU in OC mode but interesting how is it really going to work ?? when i used desktop configs few years before i use to have higher cpus "unsupported" and ran them in oc...

Hello! I just start my mom's pc upgrading is not a HP She have a dell inspiron 6400 with 945PM chipset and i put a T7200 CPU in (2Ghz Merom) Socket P (478) 800Mhz bus speed .... if uu have 915PM chipset uu should find out what socket is...
yepp sorry i did not read your config prop... does not exist P-M 64 bit this time only 64 was Itanium from intel
The board will recognize the ram but, if uu wan to use the advantage have to install 64bit windows on it...
I have M1730 but for me no problem at all top of that i able to get more speed than ever with vista....
