Check the DC plug where the plug plugs into the board. Notorious for coming unsoldered from the board. Just wiggle the pluf see if the light goes off and on, let it drain the battery for a while first.

I am looking for the papers on how to properly disassemble a Emachine/Gateway MX7122 to replace the Motherboard. I assume any MX7000 series would work. Can't even find one online..can anyone help?? THANKS!!
