The WXGA is fine, the wide screen aspect will make up for the large font compare to WUxGA. I tested the battery last night after fully drained and recharged. It ran from the dvdrom the full Crouching tiger hidden dragon dvd for 2 hours...

if you call pc connection and order they give free shipping, on the website they charge like 40 i think. for the nx7000 it come with modem gigabit ethernet and wireless...i dun think u get all 3 with the x1000. and if you order by phone...
