I would recommend downloading the free scanner from Cyberdefender's website. I use it and it works great. The free version will get rid of some stuff, but the paid version gets rid of everything. Plus it includes 24/7 tech support...

I have been using Cyberdefender. It does viruses, trojans and spyware. I got the paid version which also comes with 24/7 computer help, which my daughter used while I was away to fix a USB problem. Very happy with it.
