My buddy is going through this as we speak. Bought his wife a dell for xmas and bam, blue screens like crazy. Called them and was told to ship back and wait. I HATE Dell support.

Anyone know why they never made a dock for the 700m? Ive always wanted one for mine.

HP IMO. I agree with the above as to why the HP would be good.

I think ur fine either way. Glossy screens are easier when u have a lot of bright backgrounds such as WORD and such. Its the games and dark screens that suck for the gloss.

macbook and vaio are the only ones close to your needs that I know of.

I think ud be happy with the macbook. My friend runs all his PC programs via some kind of fake windows install. You could do the same thing.

I would go with the alienware if it was me.
