i can't seem to get online to play. when i click on multiplayer, it says i need a gamespy account. i fill out the form and it just says "creating account" and nothing happens. if i escape out of it and hit submit again, it says...
if you'd rather have the extra bulk and stuff that comes w/ using a clevo chassis, then i'd wait for the amd version that rockdirect announced. it supports the fx55 and new dual core x2 cpus. for gaming, you can't really do much better...
i believe the wuxga lcds in the xps2 and 9880s are both from lg phillips. that's probably why you get the light leakage and minor sparkles. well weren't you the one waiting for an amd dtr? at least you've got something to look forward to...
well at 1280x1024 w/ no aa+af the ultra's advantage varies from ~4% to 14%. but w/ aa+af, the ultra is anywhere from being ~11% slower to 12% faster. guess on how you define "way faster".

seems like both cards perform fairly close to their desktop counterparts and to each other. now the platforms on which the 2 articles were written are different... 2.13 ghz pm dell vs a 3.8 ghz p4 aw... so a direct comparison of the gpus...
