i have no regrets over my xps2 purchase... just wished it was 64bit
for games, amd has been consistently better than intel. the new winchesters and fx chips kick the crap outta the p4s and some ees as for looking at the long run, i'd rather have a turion than a pm
at least not in these benchmarks http://www.gamepc.com/labs/view_cont...urion64&page=1 but it does support 64bit computing and a few other features which will be important for the future.
@ clausse well there have been 3 upgrades to the 6800 alone... ddr1 -> ddr2 -> ddr3 and the mx800. so aw could use that as saying they've fulfilled their upgrade obligation to the customer. i know it sucks, but well technically...
i have norton 2003 and basically been formatting my harddrive once the subscription ends so i can reinstall it and renew the subscription. and since it downloads the latest virus defs and such... it's as current as the newer...
i noticed some clicking like that when i was playing tonight. but since everyone's moving around, it was hard to get a good look. but i didn't see anything as bad as the second pic u posted. mostly like the 1st one.
