well im still happy i went with the compaq x1000, why make a laptop with such a crappy video card? i mean why? its like shooting yourself in the foot, people think sager they think gaming, not portability, why not combine the two?

plus this laptop with only a 1.3 ghz centrino almost blows away my 2.4 desktop, centrino's are better than the desktops imo, they are as fast and are cooler and quiet

compaq's x1000 is upgradable

theres going to be a ton of m10pro 128mb cards in centrino processors when it comes out....its not out yet, and id take a centrino over a desktop processor anyday, its alot faster, runs cooler, battery last forever, my 1.3 ghz centrino...

well my compaq x1000 kicks ass so it gets my vote, any questions about it you want just ask

this wasnt answered in the big x1000 thread, so here goes: i just bought an x1000 and all the drivers are updated and what not, but when i play splinter cell, i can't put the resolution any higher than 640x480...any idea why?

can you have two different sized memory sticks in this laptop? i know it was one that is unchangable and one you can change. I want to get it cheap with 128 mb ram and get 512 from crucial, would this work? i know some pc's have to...
