I'm in a computers repair class and my teacher told me to cause damage to the computer to see what it does. I have a Windows 98 disk in case I have to reinstall it, so as long as I can cause damage without permanently damaging something,...
I'd say they should hook me up with a M611 to compensate for this...stress.
After getting it fixed the first time in August, it cracked again just yesterday. Apparently, they fixed mine with the same defective hinge... Called them today and they told me they received a more sturdy hinge and will be sending me...
The wipes, can I find them at Best Buy? - I'm still paranoid a lot about my notebook, so what would too much pressure do to the screen?
Also, how much pressure can you apply to the screen for it to be "bad"? I know a lot of dumb kids at school that just have to touch the screen in order to point out something and the colors do a temporarily warping.

And do you know the dimensions of the CD drive?
*phew* Well, so what are some of the bad scenarios that could happen if the CD is on wrong? And what was causing the loud noise? Fast spinning and air? o_O
Oh, I guess I should've stated this too. When it first happened, I thought I might have not put the CD on all the way correctly. Would it still even work then if it was on incorrectly? I mean, the data and music were all coming up....
