Sorry bout that... relatively new to this forum (glances at post count) and didn't know if both forums got equal coverage or which would have a better take on the issue.

I have a Gateway P-6831FX with an empty mini PCIe slot sitting in it. I was wondering what the best thing to add to this slot would be performance wise.

Yep... I have been through most of the diagrams and just didn't see any mention of the sensor. Trying to pin it down before I open it up. Rather know where I am going than just hunting around. Thanks for the response though.

Not sure where the sensor for the lid is located to check/replace it. System is not picking up on the condition of whether the lid is open or closed. Wondering how much disassembly is required to get to it.
