Thanks guys, I'll check it out.
eurocom has some nice stuff, but a new notebook is out of the question at this time. I built another gamer PC desktop to hold me until I figure out if I can obtain a mobo for the 5690 or not.
I just burnt out the mobo on my 5690 for the second time. Warranty is expired this time. I could replace it myself, but Sager won't sell me a mobo separately. Problem is the cost. It would be over $800 US by the time I ship it to and...
Just recieved and installed an NEC 6500A in my NP-5690 and it was a snap. Took about 5 minutes to swap the carriage and reinstall. It came with Firmware 2.24 already installed. I also downloaded Firmware v2.40...

Thanks gerryf, will do when I get home. Your right, not actually glue, but something left over from the plastic being stuck.
Hi all, Got my new 5690 a few weeks ago, but am not sure how to remove the factory glue traces from the plastic stuck on the LCD screen. After removing it there are streaks everywhere. Plain water and cloth won't work. Any...
