DD2G, I'm sure it was pretty loud in that place, but could you get a sense of the fan noise at all. One of the reviews said the fans stayed pretty low during testing?? Thanks

don't know. the thing crashed within two weeks and i returned it for a full refund. i decided to go to desktop after that.

is this just something we have to live with when we have these more powerful desktop processors in laptops, fans on all the time, that is? makes me consider a silenced desktop more seriously.

the crashes happen after 5-10 minutes, but has not done it since i switched power setting to always on.
