This happened to me when I first got mine, with WinDVD preinstalled by Sager. I uninstalled it, then did a reinstall and entered the license number on the paper sleeve containing the CD, works ok now (still prefer Power DVD 4.0 myself).

Mine charges right up, no problems, with dual batteries in my 5660. Battery time with both will last me 2.5 hours or so. It charges much faster if you have the laptop shutdown, but plugged into the adapter.
