The RAID will probably faster than single 200GB HD. But if load time isn't a factor to you, then stay single HD might be a better idea.
I always use single HD, but RAID 0 setting in M1730 does bootup and load datas faster.
If you are planning to upgrade the CPU, then configurate the cheapest CPU from Dell to save up the money.
The HD bay both connectors were for SATA. The IDE prot are for DVD-ROM.

hmm... there are several application which can detect your CPU and GPU status like GPU-Z.0.1.9 to check your GPU speed the SLI...etc. System property to check CPU speed..etc
your score cannot be that low. why dont you check first...
open Nvidia control panel by right click your mouse. Under 3D setting/Set SLI confguratio. Click on "Enable SLI technology". Then reset your lappy.
The SLI isn't enable, that is why your score is so low.

Don't buy the blu-ray burner unless you really need it. It burn regular DVD at 4X only. It feels slower....
