When mine did that it was a bad stick of ram. Try taking one stick out and starting it.If not then put it back in and take out the other one. Who knows though just trying to help.

Ide say its the pin mod doing it. Add a tad more voltage. My 1.6 @2.13 runs fine at 2 volts though but every chip is different. You may have to go a bit above stock voltage .

I must have got a good 1.6 then. I have my modded 1.6 @ 2.13 running on 2 volts. hits 40C during hours of game play. Mine was bought of ebay and was a used pull.

Well when you pinmod a 400 fsb cpu to 533 it is a 533 fsb cpu so it would be faster anyway at the new speed mhz speed. Its the same as if you had a 2.4/533 cpu and dropped it in there. It will be running at 533 fsb just like your current...

It will work with the 130 watt plugged in. wont boot with anything lower than a 9 cell batt atleast mine wont. with the 6 cell it wont boot at all but you can still play with it out and pluged in as i do.My 9 cell is in transit now.
