Thanks for the confirmation. I finally went down to the store to put my hands on it and discovered what a giant beast of a notebook it is. I wouldn't have thought they would want to disguise a 15" screen on a 17" frame....

Hello all, First post for me! I am seriously considering the g50VT-x5. BB shows the weight as 7.7lbs and the CNET review shows the weight as 6.2lbs. Can someone clear this up for me? BTW - I am trying to get a lightweight unit...
