yea i went ahead and bought the audigy 2 zs notebook PCMCIA card so i will be able tot ake full advantage of my speakers in everything that i use. thanks in advance guys though!

what does the PCMCIA sound card do for you with a 2.1 system that your onboard soundcard cant do for you? i mean if your gonna get that soundcard wouldn't you want to get speakers that have THX, Dolby Digital, DTE and etc.
