Anyone like myself who bought a IBUYPOWER D8790P laptop and can load the SP2 update due to the CPU / BIOS bug? Anyone with this problem and updated thier BIOS and fix it, and now can load SP2? I know not all 8790 have this problem...
it SP2 crashed my D8790P from Ibuypower... and they don't ship a floppy drive with the lap top and a RAID drive... so figure out what happened next.. a $$$ paper weight... Plus I bought a USB FDD Sony and it did not work... come to find...

It hard to look for a FDD or a floppy drive if it's listed as a "Drive"... but I got the info from another member the problem with the drive you guys are using it's a OEM. But the drive is resold under other names Mitsumi...

Y-E data? is the name of your floppy drive? I've got it in the lower back USB port and the 7&1 disabled in the bios.. thanks
