Nope, AMD wanted the embedded development, handhelds, and having their own mobo chipset. Having the video market is just a nice second, as it allows them to build more integrated crap like Intel does in order to gain low-end marketshare.

The TH2Go supports a resolution of 3840x1028 with no problems, although I'm not 100% sure if the dual does as well.
