Well I hope something comes out of this. I mean in the end I dont know how much battery life it will add, but I only need for brightness for navigating pages and such, reading and typing is fine and dimmest setting. And...

Im really surprised no ones got a program to mimic this function.

well i have the quickset junk and the ambient light sensor on my d620, but that doesnt do what i want. hopefully somebody comes to my rescue. Ps: and with every forum quibble it should end with somebody being called a nazi

Well not the new episodes and i want to record shows that i miss during the day. School keeps me pretty busy .... and tivo? Do a google search.....

all i need is to capture the shows that i miss automatically without having to pay for that tivo service and that way i can share the showes with my friends who have also missed em. WEre sorta of CSI nuts....
