i rcently started checking my 9860's temperatures and the processors idleing at 52-55 and hitting 65-70 under load while playing games..now from what iv'e read elsewhere on the forums this seems pretty high..? is there anythign i can do...
maybe its just me, but i'd much rather have an a64 4000+ 754 w/ pci-express than one with ANY p4 chip currently on the market...even w/out dual channel ram and a few other faults the 754s have their way w/ the 64 bit p4s...
with a blowdryer and some glue you can make it look like you were never inside it so stupid warrenties like that dont bother me, you come up with a stupid warrenty, fine, just dont expect me to be honest
My lcd screen flickers...sometimes...it happens about 50% of the time the computers being used and seems to just start and stop randomly, i've tried reinstallling video card drivers to no avail, anyone have any suggestions or should i go...
My 9869 started acting up (blue screens of death, once it just beeped a continous tone at me and froze etc) so tried to reinstall xp, i put the xp sata promise drivers on a floppy (not raid) and select them with f6 during the install,...
my drivers were exactly the same as deuchs and it installed fine for me, maybe the problems with the .1006 chipset driver? although we'd need to get some more posts from people encountering the problem to find out.
I have the x800, but i dont think its strictly video related because the hardrives and optical drives dont spin up either, its not just the lcd not displaying.
