Not to be difficult, but what exactly do you do that requires so much RAM? I have 2x 512MB in my T41P with the page file off, and I've played the "Let's see if I can open every program I have" game and still barely topped off...

I just recieved my T41P yesterday morning... Best laptop I've ever owned, bar none. I got 6 hours of battery life before I had to plug it in.
