thanks for the tips i tried a friends video card out of his laptop and it worked fine so if anyone has a video card laying around id take it off your hands thanks everyone

for the average user maybe not that much you can get a brand new 17in something at best buy for 550 i find that reselling lappys kinda sucks ....

in some cases when your re-installing windows you can select the full format option that should do the trick as far as clear personal data ... i guess if someone REALLY knew wha they were doing could still get something
