i got it too. certainly not dead pixels, just little gray spots. almost looks like what i would imagine a water stain might look like. i intend to take the screen apart and see what this is and hopefully find something that will clean...

my 5680 has the 3.2 proc and is totally stock. the fans always run whenever the comp is on. the spin slow most of the time, until the video games start then they really move some air
i have had the same thing happen at times. a few times doing a windows restore point has cleared it up. its very annoyingwhen it happens. i cant seem to figure out why it happens, and why it seems to clear up.
