sager uses crappy paste on the GPU heatsink. I found this out when my 9860 was shutting down during gaming as well. Opened her up and found singed thermal paste. Thanks guys. Put some Artic on it, problem solved. Still get stuttering...

my 9860 runs games really well for a short period of time, then it gets hit with serious lagging and choppiness. I have no idea what could be causing this. Did you figure anything out?

Hello all, The Toshiba SD-R6472 DVD on my 9860 is !!!!! I've been using Nero to burn discs and lately all it does is make blanks. I upgraded the Firmware from version TU50 to TU51 and it makes no difference. I don't get any errors...

Hey everyone, just recently my burning only produces defective cds and dvds, and sometimes when I put a disc in only some of the files will show up as on the disc, not all of them. Does this sound like the drive is failing? -Thanks

You're using external speakers right? I have one, and you need external speakers in order to get any kind of sound. That or headphones.
